The goal of yoga is adaptability not flexibility

Many students come to yoga/asana practice to become more flexible. More important in our busy, fast paced lives, may be to learn to be adaptable and let life flow through you.

Try to these few ideas to see if it helps:

- when you are next on your mat, let go of concentrating on the (physical) muscle range/length and instead focus on adapting the poses to your mood, energy levels and attitude that day.

- when you encounter a problem today, instead of holding on to being right, think about what would be the best outcome or solution for all concerned.

-

Living your practice can make you a calmer person, just breath deeply, try not to become too attached to one way of thinking or approach. Adapting is after all something we, as humans, can do very well.... try putting some practice in today.
