We all have times when we are lackgin motivation but know that we should get moving for our bodies benefit.

Here is a list of ideas to easily incorporate into your day:

Whilst watching TV - 20 x lunges, 20 crunches during each advert break

Whist brushing teeth - stand on one leg (& do pelvic floor squeezes up to 10sec)

Whilst the kettle boils - neck stretches to sides, front, back and turning head

Whilst working - roll a ball under your feet to massage foot muscles, and ankle circles

Going upstairs - go up 2 at a time, 1 down, repeat

Hanging out laundry - squats to pick up each piece from the basket to put on line, one at a time.

When you first wake up - think of 3 things that you are grateful for and only 3 things you want to achieve that day (not hundreds)

When you go to bed - stretch your back by lying on your back and rolling knees side to side.

Dog walking - increase your speed, maybe even run

Whilst reading a book- 3 x 30 bridges on each leg

Make up your own moves to keep you supple, even on lazy days.
